Old and Gray
When you’re old and gray, what will you remember? And what will you be grateful you did? Will you be thankful that you made the safe choice?
Did you settle for a job that was okay? Living for the weekends, only to get blind drunk to forget the week? Did you settle for someone who made you secure but not excited, constantly wondering what if you made the not safe choice?
I hope not. I hope that regardless where you end up at the end of your journey – mansion, cardboard box, surrounded by children, or alone – at least you can say, “I gave it my all. I played my hand boldly and fully.”
