Our Stay At Sao Lourenco do Barrocal
Sao Lourenco do Barrocal has been in the same family for over 200 years, it use to be a small farming village that has been brought back to life as a luxry hotel. I use the word luxury lightly, as nothing is super fancy or over done on the property, everything is tasteful and has purpose. The entire hotel is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and their own gardens, where they grow all their produce! Which was one of the main reasons it sparked my interest. Everything is so peaceful and quite on the property and things move at a much more gentle pace. We stayed in one of the farm rooms, which was incredibly spacious with a private balcony.
