I have something a bit different (and long anticipated!) to share with you this evening, but first of all, I hope you've all been enjoying the September sunshine as much as I have! It's been lovely to squeeze in a few last trips to the beach before we move up to Bath next week. There's something quite satisfying about this trans-seasonal time of year - the beaches are idyllic after the summer holiday bustle and since it's now September I felt no shame in baking my first crumble of the year for tea this afternoon.
