Summer Whites in Brooklyn
When we were in New York a few weeks ago I planned an afternoon in Brooklyn. Yes, it is true that I used to live in Brooklyn and did not have the best time there but that borough of New York City does have a few redeeminging qualities and one of my favorite is Smorgasburg. Smorgasburg is an outdoor foodie market on Saturdays that takes place in the East River State Park, on the far West side of Williamsburg. I have taken a whole host of people to try the international food from more than 70 vendors at Smorgasburg (and even blogged about it back in 2014 ). This time we enjoyed Mexican street corn, Asian tacos, delicious pulled pork, and fresh watermelon juice...
