Rainy Winchester (Casual Style)
For Joe's birthday a couple of weeks ago we had always planned to hop on the train down to Winchester for a day of wandering, eating and drinking. The weather had other ideas and it poured with rain all day but we went anyway, brolly in hand and had a lovely day regardless. The train only takes 15 minutes which always makes me wonder why we don't go more often. There was more eating and drinking involved than I had anticipated given that we spent the day inside trying to keep dry but from the train station we popped straight into the library (I do love a library) and as it's Hampshire, I could have borrowed books there and returned them to our library at home.
