I Dress For Me
I consider myself lucky to be in a profession where I have the freedom to wear basically whatever I want…within reason obviously. And I can appreciate this because I’ve had my share of jobs with uniforms.
The school year has just begun and already a mom asked why I was dressed so nicely…and where was I going after work. Well, I’m sure the students don’t mind a teacher who is dressed “nice”…but I don’t dress for them. I dress for me. And if it makes me happy, I’m going to wear it.
