Alright, this one I felt deserved it's own stand alone post. I made this crown and I feel pretty awesome about that. I've been trying to find a "dark" floral crown since I've really enjoyed wearing the little fun ones but I didn't have any luck finding something I liked. I ended up going to Michaels and bought a black branch, two springs of dark leaves and berries, three black roses, a few tiny dark red flowers. I twisted the branch in a circle and rather than use wire to keep it together, I wrapped the leaf springs around it. They had a stiff wire in the middle so it worked very well and looked intentional.
