NYC is such a daily adventure, and for me, a daily adventure into it's rich past. I love discovering new (yet old) places, and the amazing thing is how easy it is to get to so many locations in a day. We really have our subways to thank for that, which have been literally iconic in so many ways for decades. I am sure that the subways had their share of horrible and unsafe times in the 70's, 80's & 90's, but today there is a spark of beauty being reborn in much of the city.
