Mr. Holbrook
In 7th grade, Mr. Holbrook subbed fairly often for one of my teachers. I remember him not because he let us cheat on tests or eat at our desks or take unlimited bathroom breaks. I remember Mr. Holbrook because he always wore (or seemed to wear) a pair of plaid golf pants with a hole in the crotch. We got a good view because he’d sit, spread-eagle, on a chair while he addressed the class. I honestly don’t think he knew and we never told him.
Today, I got to work and realized I was pulling a Mr. Holbrook. However, I took care to sit in a way that kept it to myself.
Also unlike Mr. Holbrook, my wardrobe malfunction can’t be fixed with a few stitches. These...
