Shoes are Charlotte Russe. Everything else is vintage! Sometimes a phrase, no matter how perfectly random, makes a deep and lasting impression in your mind. Aqua Vida. This phrase, spoken by the roguishly charming Captain Jack Sparrow in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, sent chills up my spine and has popped into my head on various occasions since. It's ironic how such two simple words can open up a magical world in the ceiling of a cave within which flows the legendary Fountain of Youth.
