Six Weeks and Counting
There’s debris flying through the air, and the whole first floor is covered in pieces of old dry wall. The house is cold, because the furnace has to be off and everything is covered in a fine layer of dust.
Yeah, it’s pretty much a mess. And you know what’s worse? My office is in the front room. In the space between the door and the basement that is being worked on. Which means I have no privacy and am right in the traffic zone for the people traipsing in and out.
But it has to be done. No options, no choices, and at least it’s not winter. At least the temperatures are up, and I can escape outside. But gotta say, I’d love...
