After he was restricted due to his surgery for stomach cancer he started making art by cutting and painting sheets of paper and supervising the creation of lithographs. This series of four Blue Nudes is significant because it ties in different periods of his work in together very well. It calls back to his sculptural work, such as La Serpentine. ...
