Aging Beautifully: Patricia Clarkson
She's not a Big Time Hollywood Star, but Patricia Clarkson is a wonderful actress who's getting better and better as she matures. She often takes supporting roles in smaller movies, the eccentric character with a touch of world-weary elegance. Her movie debut was as Elliott Ness' wife in The Untouchables (1987), but I don't remember her from that movie, sorry to admit. I do remember her as the flaky, free-spirited sister of the main character in Six Feet Under. I really noticed her then - what a great, raspy voice! And a face of her own, not a cookie-cutter beauty. She had a small but memorable part in Good Night and Good Luck (2005) as a TV reporter in the 1950's,...
