Who’s the Problem? And Other Thoughts On Conformity
I wore this on a day I hung out with a friend, and had drinks with some girlfriend’s in the evening.
That afternoon, my bud, made a comment about it. I didn’t fully grasp it, but it was because it’s velvet and sequins.
And the thing is, I think we don’t wear fun clothes out enough. We put on our drab, casual, blend-in with everyone clothes and go through our day. You know, for a culture that celebrates individuality we sure do go out of our way to get everyone to conform, to get everyone looking the same, and following the same trends. And the second someone steps out of line we critique them.
