Shabbat
I’m not going to explain what Shabbat is because I don’t have a lot of knowledge about this and I don’t want to say something that it’s not true. But on Friday evening we went to Old Jaffa to enjoy some sunny time at their vintage cafe’s and were surprised to see that many people on the streets. We didn’t know that at sunset on Friday evening starts the Shabbat that ends on Saturday at about the same time and it’s their day off, as Sunday is to Christians. Literally everyone was out on the streets, having a great time. All restaurants and cafes were full and you could hear live music at every corner. These people do know how...
