denim jacket: via thriftdress: vintage via Etsyheels: via thrift First photos with my new camera! The learning curve on a machine that isn't a straight point-and-shoot has been steep and frustrating. This is the result of two hours of fiddling. When I try to shoot with the timer on the automatic settings, the camera can't focus on the blank background and won't take a photo. When I try to preset the manual settings, all the photos are out of focus. I also purchased a camera remote, which I can't seem to get working. I watched an extensive collection of YouTube videos on using remotes with Canon cameras, but nothing seems to quite work. I hope I can get something going!...
