KALAVRITA, MOUNTAIN TOUR IN GREECE PT1
What a better post to close the year?! Snow snow and again snow. It is kind of strange for many of you, I am sure, but in Greece they actually have places where it snows! Kalavrita is one of the closest place to Patra like these ones. I definitely recommend you to go, it is soooooo charming! You can reach it by car, and in this case I suggest you to stop along the way at the monastery of Mega Spileo and the village of Zachlorou, I made an entire post HERE . Or you can go by a "rack-train" from the station of Diakopto, in this case it will be harder to stop, but you will see incredible naturalistic scenaries.
