The Teddy Coat The Teddy Coat:
As you may know, I’m giving myself an 80/20 rule for buying new traditional vs sustainable or secondhand. Since the Teddy coat is super trendy right now and would be pretty impossible to thrift and since they’re also made of polyester, I kind of wrote it off as a trend I wouldn’t get to play with.
THEN, I saw this one from #reformation and I was like- “Take my money” they say it’s made from deadstock fabric which is essentially rescued from going directly into the trash, but every time I wear it I see it shedding microplastics (fibers) all over the world… so now I feel a little conflicted.
