Weekend Getaway at the Omni Homestead
Way back in the early Fall, we decided we needed to plan a weekend getaway. With husbands, kids, jobs, life...finding a free weekend is really hard. We decided to make it a priority, and yes, missed a couple of the kids events, but sister time in the VA mountains was worth it. We knew we needed a "meet-in-the-middle" location, seeing as how Katey is in Ohio and I'm in North Carolina. Virginia was the spot. But not just any place would do.
