Saturday by the hour
Saturday I had a blissfully quiet and relaxing day. Here is a picture for every hour.10AM: My mom asked me to mulch the garden beds where the garlic is growing. The fallen leaves and pine needles in the yard make a perfect covering for the bare soil. By laying some sticks across the tops of the bed's wooden walls, the leaves won't blow away easily and will protect the plants growing beneath it. The Christmas-red roses are looking lively still.11AM: Th patio was covered with leaves and sticks I used for mulch but I also set up the chiminea for a winter solstice bonfire.
