Why I Hate the Phrase “I Can’t Pull That Off”
As someone who works in retail and has been blogging and publicly trying new trends for 7 years now one thing that drives me INSANE is when people say, “Oh I could never pull that off!” Why do I hate it so much? Because we can all wear whatever that we want. If it’s not your style, then ok, it’s not your style. If it doesn’t flatter you, ok, it doesn’t flatter you. But I just feel as if we’re putting ourselves down when we say, “I can’t pull that off!” As in you’re not (fill in the blank) enough for that article of clothing.
