Three Things I Learned at Costume College, Year 3
Ahh, Costume College ! Every costumer’s dream convention — and for good reason. With an impressive amount of inspiring people attending, amazing classes, festive social events, and the platform to show off your beautiful projects, what else could we ask for?
Unfortunately, there are some common traps that most of us fall into at least once when absorbed by the excitement of a costuming event.
This year, my third time attending, I learned three essential tips for conquering this convention:
#1: No Last Minute Sewing
Instead of finishing my robe, I wore a vintage silk kimono and lounged about on Sunday morning with these lovely ladies!
