I was so surprised when we got home from the David Byrne concert to see that Charlie had decorated our kitchen for my birthday. Hanging up streamers has been a long family tradition in the Basilone family, that has withstood many, many birthdays, even after my Poppy said when the last of us turned 18 we weren't decorating anymore. The last of us is 22 and I am the oldest at 30 and the tradition is still going strong.
