Celebrating in Chinatown!
As you can see from all the confetti, I recently celebrated my birthday! (Note: I don't carry colorful confetti around with me on a daily basis, although that would be cool!) Every year around my birthday, I usually pick one or two things off of my growing list of things to do and see around Los Angeles and this year I wanted to go to Chinatown. I'll save what we did there for another post about the excursion but I will say that Chinatown has really changed in the last decade or so. Apparently, it's now one of the new "cool" locations in Los Angeles, so I guess you could say that visiting was a way to make myself feel as if I'm still young and hip! ...
