A Weekend at Daylesford

Coming at you with another countryside escape, because is there anything better on a summer weekend? And yes, despite the weather, it is still summer.
A couple of weekends ago, Miguel and I jumped on the train to Daylesford, Gloucestershire, as we were booked in for a weekend at one of their cottages for our anniversary. Neither Miguel or I drive, so getting to go away on these impromptu ‘road trips’ isn’t always as easy as just throwing a suitcase in the car, but there is almost always a train station and a local taxi service that’ll get you where you need to go.
