Menton, Holiday in French Riviera
Here we go again with another city of the French Riviera: Menton. This is the best place for holidays, if I had to buy a house in the South of France I would do it here. The architecture is lovely, it is next to the sea, and it is not a big city as Nice, so it is much calmer. Let's start speaking about the old town, that is the part upon the hill. During the roman time here there was a road, the Julia Augusta, that was connecting Piacenza with Arles and was passing where now we see the Rue Longue.
