How I Took Outfit Inspiration From An Unusual ’80s Movie

Good Vibes
Cyndi Lauper was my first (and forever) ’80s icon and her style is none more perfect than in the 1988 comedy Vibes . In it she plays a beautician with psychic abilities and gets dragged into a mysterious exploration in the mountains of Ecuador with Jeff Goldblum.
In honor of the movie turning 30 years old this month, I came up with a look to pay tribute to Cyndi’s character Sylvia and all the weird, wacky, and wonderful clothes she wears.
