Serpent Trail 50km Race (Running)
The Serpent Trail is a 64 mile (108km) waymarked route starting in Haselmere in West Sussex and finishing in Petersfield in Hampshire and a couple of weekends ago, Freedom Running held their second weekend of trail events on the route. There was a the choice of a 100km race, 50km, half-marathon and a 10km, all finishing at Petersfield Rugby Club. We had a few drop out in weeks leading up to the event but eventually had 12 club runners participate in the 50km, two in the 100km and several others in the half and 10km (I don't know how many as I was out running when those two races took place and a lot of them had already left by the time we finished).
