Sunflower Fields in Woodland

The sunflower fields in Woodland are in full bloom right now, and they’re pure summer magic!!  I swear they’re casting a golden hue for miles.  If you have a chance to drive out there it’s so worth it and made my entire weekend.  Rex’s too–but because he was excited to point out and watch all of the bumble bees buzz from flower to flower. We actually didn’t time this photo opp correctly as we were taking the long route home after grabbing lunch in Davis when we stumbled upon these fields (mid-day when the sunflowers are turned down, away from the sun)… but it was still so gorgeous, of course we had to pull over for some...
