Women Who Work - Meet Jen!
Hi, this is Jen from Librarian for Life Style, a style spin-off from my personal blog Librarian for Life, and I'm excited to participate in Whitney's Women Who Work feature today!
1. What is your job?
I'm a librarian at a community college, and about to transition from part-time to a full-time faculty librarian position in the fall. I've a proud second-generation librarian -- my mom is a school librarian -- hence, the "Librarian for Life." :) Any given work day might involve a mixture of teaching and prepping lesson plans; meetings and committee work; training workshops; helping users with research questions via chat, email, phone, or on the Reference Desk;...
