TOKYO IN BLOOM
Serendipity. The best things in life usually happen unplanned.
We came across this little patch of wonderland in the middle of nowhere as we were driving to Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen from Karuizawa, and the flare was unplanned too.
It was late April when we went to Tokyo and all forecast said the best viewing period of cherry blossom was early April. With not much hope, we tried our luck anyway and paid a visit to Komoro Castle Ruins which proves that the ancient wisdom is right: “The secret to happiness lies in having low expectation.”
