working for me(n)

that verse is a favorite because i’m a perfectionist and it’s a good reminder to focus on the Lord rather than men, which has always been a struggle for me.
this time when i read it, i noticed ‘me’ in the word ‘men.’ oh crap.
forget working for men- how often do i work for myself rather than the Lord?
i have been stressed out, burned out, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off at work lately- all in the name of trying to get everything done.
yes there’s a lot to do, and it’s all important, but...
