The desert and Oregon, when two of my favorite things things collide it's hard not to smile. Leo and I took a day trip to Smith Rock yesterday and I forgot how much I love this place. I had only been once before and it blew my mind even more than the first time. The sun was out this time and the desert colors were glowing. It was impossible not to feel inspired. The desert just does something special to me. I love the heat, the constant sun, the colors, the smells...and I feel lucky just a short drive away form Portland, I can be surrounded by the desert again.
