40's Little Italy || Red & Black in Miss Retro Chic
It's time for more Miss Retro Chic! Today's crimson red dress was designed as a 50's swing dress, but leave the crinoline behind and this beauty easily turns into a 40's frock. I was inspired by the beauty of this neckline! Feminine pleats & defined shoulders gave me a feeling of wartime nostalgia, a time when romance intermingled with obligation, and dresses were demure, sophisticated, and yet ladylike and delicate.
