Festive for Cinco de Mayo
Happy Thursday! Can you believe it's May? We made it! Before I left for FL we had not seen temps out of the 40s, everything was greay and not a single flower had popped up. We returned to mid 60s and now BAM, almost 90 and everything is colorful and blooming. Per usual, Spring had it's fifteen minutes and we have moved right on to Summer temps, and I could not be happier! Only two days until Cinco de Mayo! The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army 's difficult victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla , on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.
