My last day in Los Angeles was spent with my family in Chinatown, Los Angeles. It was in the mid-90s. The sun was out full throttle. A hot, hot Sunday of pure leisure. I wore my new lilac Nanushka dress because it seemed perfect for the weather. But still, I was burning in it. Bubble teas and red bean buns filled our tummies as we looked for a cheap massage parlor and a place to get a last minute, $20 mani/pedi. There are trinkets for $1, so you end up buying 20 of them, knowing you will never actually need or use them. Chinatown is the spot for all of that. I’ve experienced many Chinatowns...
