Aug 17th - Outfit #18 - Casual Friday in Silk
Another hot day...but it's Friday, so weeee! Despite how this long-sleeved outfit may look, I was actually cool and non-sweaty all day. This is my vintage 90s red silk shirt (last seen here, with my polka dotted silk pants) with my fitted denim vest (last worn here,with yesterday's skirt).I really like the contrast of the rich drapiness of the silk with the stiff faded denim. And gosh, you've got to love how well silk breathes! And yet it keeps you warm. Silk is just magic, that's all there is to it. On the bottom is my "splatter" skirt (last worn here). This is just the perfect skirt. It swooshes nicely (Swoosh Factor: 8/10) and is so perfectly shaped. The only thing...
