There’s something about smocking I can’t get enough of when it comes to summer dressing.
A little bit seventies Summer of Love, a little bit butter-wouldn’t-melt innocence, smocked tops, dresses and swimwear really speak to me as soon as I start plotting what I’m going to fill my suitcase with. A little like gingham, this isn’t really a trend for me but more of a lifelong, holiday romance I keep falling back on summer after summer.
