Surprise Thrift Shop Find
One of my favorite ways to stretch my minimal clothing budget (typically less than $50 a month) is to visit thrift and secondhand shops. The Goodwills in my area (I am lucky to be surrounded by quite a few!) range from frequent treasure troves to time wasters, so I have gotten pretty good at knowing where I can score the best items. I picked up this dress for less than six bucks at the Goodwill in my hometown recently. I had planned to wear it on my trip to Disney last month, but I... kind of just forgot I owned it and never packed it. It was like a surprise when I found it hanging in my closet a few weeks ago!
