I love supporting women-owned businesses and local businesses so when Ruth Barzel reached out offering a giveaway of some pieces from her jewelry line I couldn't resist. Ruth Barzel is a Northern Virginia-based jewelry designer who crafts pieces that are unique, but so very wearable. Fashioned with semiprecious stones, pearls, fine wire, and a variety of sterling silver and gold-filled chains, Ruth creates her jewelry line in her home-based office and sells it in boutiques around the DC area, in Michigan, and even Dubai. For those in none of those locations, her entire collection is also available on Etsy .
