Continuing on with the crapastic weekend, after coming home Saturday with a mass of lovely purple bruises on my leg, Kevin and I decided to refrain from any further activities that might result in first aid treatment and plopped down to watch the film The Magdalene Sisters. Its a heartwarming tale about three young girls who are sent to the Magdalene Asylums to repent for their crimes of being a rape victim, having a child out of wedlock, and flirting with boys (gasp). To say it portrays the Catholic Church in a negative manner is an understatement and just when it seemed that the ladies were going to escape their slave like surroundings the dvd decided to crap out...
