When: last Sunday // Weather: 40s and cloudy // Real life: mac ‘n’ cheese festival
I tried to keep an open mind for year 2 of Indy’s mac ‘n’ cheese fest. Year 1 was sort of underwhelming, but the first year of anything is underwhelming. I mean, when I look back on 1985, I don’t think to myself, “damn, I really hit my stride as a newborn.” But I was underwhelmed again. There were long lines, still no organization, not a lot of vegetarian options, and leaky spots in the ceiling. They also tried to hand out forks via the “take one, pass it on” method.
