A Quiet Evening in the French Quarter
After a day of work – it was a business trip after all – again the target was the French Quarter for the evening. There is so so much to see there, and we also didn’t want to wander too much since work had tired us out. My plan was to take the last few days off and really explore the French Quarter and the rest of the city. But for now, these little tastes would have to do.
This was during the week, so the Mardi Gras parades and parties weren’t yet kicked off – that was Friday. For now, the French Quarter was dark – relatively – and quiet – relatively. Most shops and artisan galleries were closed for the evening, all...
