Transition to Fall
I rather enjoy the challenge of dressing for the "in-between" periods of seasons, though some dislike it. I think it is fun to experiment with pieces that you can incorporate from the previous season, but in a way that works well and remains cohesive. Although it is not *quite* even cooling down a little bit right now (90 degrees by the ocean today!), I'm already beginning to experiment with different Summer-to-Fall transitional pieces in my closet. In this outfit, I wore a bright orange shirt dress, toned down under a chunky neutral Fall sweater with boots and otk socks. I love how the Fall outfit "pops" with little bits of summer brights still incorporated. Now...
