Nothing makes me feel more fake French than a good beret. Honestly when I was in France last year I didn't see a single gal rocking a beret and I felt cheated. My stereotype was shattered. Is that what it feels like when foreigners think all Americans shoot guns and have red solo cup parties?! Not a beret in sight. Tant pis I guess it was all in my head- or on my head in this case.
