New Look 6697 | Merry Christmas!
So, here is my Christmas dress! I wanted something easy to wear; a shade of red; a little bit shiny and wearable for any other time of the year. And I found this fabric: Tango Red Jersey Knit with Square Sequin Patches . In all honesty, I don't have a lot of patterns that would work with a knit like this. But I've had this pattern -- New Look 6697 (out of print) for the last 10 years and never got around to making it. I went through a phase where I was seeing so many wrap and wrap-style dresses that I just hated them. And I'm just know getting to the point where I can revisit the possibility of this style.
