December Baby
This past weekend I celebrated my twenty-eighth birthday with my in-laws, only thing is I'm not actually the big 2-8 until this Sunday. As a December baby my birthday party tends to get celebrated on whatever weekend works best around folks busy holiday schedules. I guess I can't complain too much...at least they didn't try and combine my birthday with Christmas. That should really be a federal offense. Getting a joint birthday/Christmas gift has got to be one of the most depressing things that can happen in a kids life....right next to getting socks from Santa (really Santa, what part of Barbie dream house did you not understand). Birthday gifts this year...
