If you've been wondering why I've been absent from the blogosphere, it's because I've been in and out of two hospitals since Thursday. That morning I had severe abdominal pains in my right side and had to call my dad to pick me up from work (I couldn't actually drive myself). By the time he had gotten me to his house, the pain had worsened. He wound up calling an ambulance and I was rushed to the ER for the first time in my life. After some pain meds and a CT scan, I was told I had a swollen kidney, which they believed was due to a kidney stone. After a few hours, I was sent home.
