This outfit came together very quickly for me. I took one look at the inspiration painting, “Black Cat” by Japanese artist Hishida Shunso , and though, “Yellow, black, and gray. Done.” If it were colder I would’ve worn a gray sweater underneath the black blazer to mimic the texture of the tree trunk, but for now this T-shirt would do.
What actually took a long time is deciding which of my cat brooches to wear. In the end, I opted for this instead of the wooden one, for a bit of sparkle. I figured the outfit was minimalist enough, so it needed some actual bling to stand out.
