Neverwhere
It's well documented that I am something of a Science-Fiction/Fantasy book nerd so that fact that I am about to give Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman a stellar review should come as no surprise, but I'm gonna write out my thoughts anyway cause that's what I do. This story follows Mr. Richard Mayhew as he is struggling with a "there must be more to life than this bullsh*t" type crisis. One seemingly routine day, this perfectly ordinary man gets sucked down a proverbial rabbit hole "into an alternative reality that exists in a subterranean labyrinth of sewer canals and abandoned subway stations."
